Personal Background
Dave was born and raised in the Green Bay, Wisconsin area, graduated from the University of Wisconsin, and moved with his wife, Cindy, to the Los Altos area in 1984 where they have lived ever since. They have two teenage children active in school, sports, horseback riding, music, and scouting. Dave is the Scoutmaster for Boy Scout Troop 37 of Los Altos, an active member of the Los Altos Community Foundation, an Honorary Rotarian with the Los Altos Rotary Club, a volunteer at the Day Workers Center, a past board member for ten years of the Festival of Lights Parade, a member of the design committee of the Los Altos History House, a past board member for five years with the Los Altos Sister Cities Committee, a facilities director for the construction of the new Parish Hall at St. Nicholas Church, and a designer and builder for Boulder Creek Scout Camp.
